“Masks” is series of stories of different people on their journey to self-identification. Subjects of the paintings are genderless. The clothes and objects around them create an illusion of specific gender, mood, agenda, when in reality they are the manifestation of neutrality trying to find themselves. Objects used in the paintings are related to a specific people or my memory of them.
